• PORTRAITS –
PENCIL, PASTEL, WATERCOLOR AND OIL

Size: Pencil and pastels of group portraits are drawn on 11” x 17” or larger. Single portraits may be smaller, if preferred. All drawings are on acid-free paper, and then sprayed with fine fixative to help preserve drawing.

Framing: Pencil, pastel and watercolor are not framed because of potential damage to portrait during shipping. Framing of an Oil Painting in a complementary frame will vary depending on cost of frame and time expended.

Photographs: Send a minimum of three photos of the person or pet to be the subject of the portrait. A close up of eyes and nose of the subject will help me ensure the realism of your special portrait. Critical to success is clarity of the photos sent. I can alter clothing, remove brasses and remove articles in the person hands.

Approval: At portrait’s completion, I will email a proof to you for approval.. Written approval via email is acceptable.

Turnaround: Most portraits will take approximately two to three weeks to complete.

Deposit/Payment: A deposit equal to 20% of the cost of the project is due and payable with your photographs when the order is placed. Final payment is due with your approval of artwork proof and is required in advance of shipping. All payments will show up on your credit card statement as: Darcy’s WLGS On-Line. Checks must be made out to: Darcy’s WLGS On-Line

Shipping and Tax: Depends on state that you reside in and weight of artwork

Insurance: Will be added.

• COMMISSIONED PAINTINGS - LANDSCAPE/STILL LIFE

Size: Oil and watercolor are painted on a minimum 16” x 24” or larger.

Framing: Framing of an Oil Painting in a complementary frame will vary depending on cost of frame and time expended.

Deposit / Payment: A deposit equal to 20% of the cost of the project is due and payable with your photographs when the order is placed. Final payment is due with your approval of artwork proof and is required in advance of shipping. All payments will show up on your credit card statement as: Darcy’s WLGS On-Line. Checks must be made out to: Darcy’s WLGS On-Line.

Subject Matter: Send samples of different images (photos, magazine, pictures from a book, etc.). I can compose a scene of the elements that you love.

Approval: At completion, I will email a proof of your painting to you for approval. Written approval via email is acceptable.

Turnaround: Most paintings can be completed in approximately four weeks. This permits for complete drying.

Shipping and Tax: Depends on state that you reside in and weight of artwork

Insurance: Will be added.

• NONCOMMISSIONED GALLERY PAINTINGS

Framing: Oil painting, I will be happy to find a frame that will complement your painting, price for framing will vary depending on cost of frame and my time.
